About Us

Brassfield was established as a traditional school on June 7, 1988, in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2007, Brassfield transitioned to a year-round school in order to accommodate its growing student population. Currently, our school comprises approximately 650 students who are distributed across three calendar schedules (Tracks 1, 3, and 4).

The Brassfield staff comprises highly qualified teachers who continue to expand their learning to remain current in the evolving field of education. The instructional program at Brassfield immerses students in interactive learning opportunities using digital tools to increase engagement and participation in collaborative tasks, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Brassfield has consistently sustained high student achievement, and is proud of our commitment to ensuring that every child makes significant growth each school year.

Brassfield has an active, involved PTA and parent population. Our parents volunteer their time, talents, and resources to collaborate with the staff in order to provide quality education for our children.
